“BDA is a guide for Bangsamoro people”. This was the message given by one of the Municipal Development Catalysts (MDC) of Iranon Province as the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) Central Mindanao Region held its Quarterly Meeting along with other Provincial Development Catalysts at Sitio Marantao, Barangay Bugasan Norte, Matanog, Iranon Province on May 9-10, 2013.

The meeting aimed at strengthening the activity through assessment of the existing programs previously planned. The evaluation carried out from Provincial to Municipal and down to Barrio Development Catalysts is an effective tool to facilitate smooth implementation of programs and projects, and in the continuous pursuit of excellence and practice of stewardship as well as inclusiveness among Bangsamoro people.

The meeting was participated by around 300 Development Catalysts coming from 11 Provincial Political Committees (PolCom) covered by the Central Mindanao Region ofBDA composed of Regional Management Office (RMO) Staff and Volunteers, PolCom officials and guests.

Ahmad Hassan, Provincial Development Catalyst of Iranon Province welcomed the participants. He delivered with the thought emphasizing that as believers “everything that we are doing are purely for the sake of Allahu Subhanahu Wa Taala”.

Mr. Hashim B. Manticayan, Manager of BDA Central Mindanao Region accentuated the values of inclusiveness and stewardship. “BDA Development Catalysts have very big role to play in molding people towards enlightened, progressive and self sustaining Bangsamoro communities”, stressed ManagerManticayan.

Manager Manticayan clarified further that BDA is a show window of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) on development leadership and management.
